This is the best of the Masters and Jim's solo work all on one CD. The whole thing was recorded in just over a week. The band sound like they're having a great time. The music really swings with a tight rhythm section. The music has a wonderful live feel about it and is a more cohesive recording than other best of Masters collections which cover such a range of styles. The music is great but Jim's voice has matured and is deeper and more sonorous than his early work. He breathes new life into some classic tracks and takes the listener on a wonderful journey through his musical history.

Elevator Driver - sample - classic early Masters' track given a lift by the sitar.

Undecided - sample - hard to believe this is acoustic, cos it rocks so hard. One of the best.

Waiting For The Big One - sample - should have been the big one.

Love Is - sample - the single from Panama Red overlooked cos the Masters had split. One of Jim's favourite songs.

Wars or Hands of Time - sample - another early classic that benefits from the upgrade.

The Boy From The Stars - sample - a great song with great lyrics.

5:10 Man - sample - check out the harmonies. Russell Morris and Daryl Cotton help out. they have a lot of fun with this one on stage.

Think About Tomorrow Today - sample - a good try, but doesn't quite match the punch of the original.

Our Kingdom Gone - sample - a gentle acoustic from Jim's yet to be released new studio album

Living In A Child's Dream - sample - a great version that really swings.

Because I Love You - sample - It had to be done

Turn Up Your Radio - sample - A wonderful surprise, one of the best on the CD.

Can't Find My Way Home - sample - Must be one of Jim's favourites. It's also on the new studio CD.

This Song - sample - One Jim's best ever tracks, taken from the brilliant Pressure Makes Diamonds CD. This is a superb version and a great way to finish the CD.
