This was the bands very first show on returning from England, recorded live in Perth at the Nickelodeon theater. The band was under-rehearsed and the sound was poor (it's not too bad considering this was the second attempt at recording live in Australia and nobody really new what to do) with no proper balance between the instruments. There was a dearth of quality material (4 new tracks that needed more work) on hand and most of the songs were self indulgent. There was a reasonable rendition of Because I Love You while Fresh Air By The Ton showed promise (highlighting Doug's guitar work as did 'When I've Got Your Soul' which Jim claims was written on the day), but the only track to pocess a spark of life was Doug Ford's Future of Our Nation , a paean to disillusionment, during which Doug delivers a series of spine-chilling lead solos. The song was (good enough quality) released as a single b/w the folksy non-album studio track New Day .
